DTN Closing Livestock Comment 03/17 16:03
Traders Pushed Livestock Contracts Higher Monday Afternoon

Heading into Tuesday's market it will be interesting to see if traders
continue to support the contracts robustly as they'll be pushing resistance
thresholds.

GENERAL COMMENTS:

It was a fruitful day for the livestock complex as all three markets closed
higher. New showlists appear to be mixed, higher in Texas, but lower in Kansas
and Nebraska/Colorado. May corn is up 2 1/2 cents per bushel and May soybean
meal is down $1.60. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 353.44 points
